1/ Proof of Liquidity not only attracts new liquidity into the ecosystem but also makes that liquidity productive and incentivizes that liquidity to stay. In this thread, we'll walk through the PoL flywheel, serving users, validators, and dapps

2/ In order for a user to participate in PoL and start earning rewards in the form of incentives and fees from apps, they need BGT. The only way to acquire BGT is to supply their capital into the ecosystem via reward vaults, boosting liquidity in the ecosystem.

3/ Once a user has BGT, they can either delegate it to a validator or burn it for BERA. Delegating gives the user access to new revenue streams & increases network security by putting more assets at risk for being slashed.

4/ By delegating, the user “boosts” this validator, allowing them to earn more BGT. Validators' block-building rewards scale linearly with the amount of BGT delegated to them, & this increases network security by increasing the incentive for that validator to secure the network.

5/ As a result: 1. The user can receive some of the incentives filled by the validators they delegate to. 2. The user will earn fees from the native dapps in the form of HONEY.

6/ As liquidity deepens and more users earn rewards from PoL, the ecosystem becomes more attractive for new users and teams. These new entrants to the ecosystem also want to participate in PoL, and the cycle starts over.

7/ Those who participate most in PoL and earn the most BGT get to determine the recipients of BGT by voting on which reward vaults to approve via governance.

8/ PoL is a mechanism that provides ongoing, predictable rewards for making capital productive. Users get new revenue streams, dapps bootstrap liquidity faster and cheaper, and validators get to be strategic about distributing their block rewards.
